Lovage (Levisticum officinale) is a hardy, perennial herb valued for its strong, celery-like flavour and aromatic leaves. Both leaves and stems are edible and excellent in soups, stews, sauces, and salads. The seeds can also be used as a spice. It grows vigorously in full sun to partial shade and well-drained, fertile soil, returning year after year for continuous harvest.
